Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Practice Agentic — operated by Cloud Development Group LLC ("we," "us," "our") — collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the Practice Agentic website and learning platform (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Account details — your name and email address when you sign up.
- Profile details — anything optional you add, like a display name or avatar.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as your name, the last four digits of your card, card brand, and billing country) and a Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your full card number.
- Communications — messages you send us at support, and your responses to quizzes or knowledge checks.
Information we collect automatically:
- Usage and learning data — which lessons you watch, your watched position and progress, completion, and quiz attempts.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive data, and we ask that you don't send them to us.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account and authenticate your logins;
- provide the Service — stream lessons, save your progress, and let you resume where you left off;
- process subscriptions, payments, and refunds through Stripe;
- send transactional messages (magic-link sign-ins, receipts, billing and account notices);
- send product updates, course nudges, and marketing where you've agreed or where the law allows, and always with an unsubscribe option;
- secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
- comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA/UK): we rely on contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).
3. How we share information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers ("processors") who run the Service for us, under contract and only as needed:
- Stripe — payments and billing
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, database, and video delivery
- Amazon SES (or Resend) — transactional and marketing email
- Google — sign-in, if you choose Google authentication
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Legal and safety recipients — if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, or us.
- Business transfers — if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal; we'll notify you of any change in control.
4. Where your data is processed
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in and secure your session (strictly necessary — always on),
- deliver protected video via short-lived signed cookies,
- remember preferences, and
- measure and improve the Service (analytics).
You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie settings and your browser. Strictly necessary cookies can't be switched off, as the Service won't work without them.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and afterward only as long as we need it to:
- provide the Service and let you return to your progress if you come back,
- meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements (billing records are typically kept for several years), and
- resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you,
- correct inaccurate information,
- delete your information,
- object to or restrict certain processing,
- port your data to another service,
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing), and
- opt out of marketing.
To exercise any of these, email support@practiceagentic.com. We'll respond within the timeframe the law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
US state privacy rights: if you're a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law, you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we honor opt-out requests.
8. Marketing choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any marketing message, or by emailing us. We'll still send you essential transactional messages (like sign-in links and receipts) because they're part of providing the Service.
9. Security
We protect your information with measures including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege permissions, and secrets stored in a managed secrets vault rather than in code. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
10. Children
The Service is for adults and isn't directed to children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date, and for material changes we'll notify you by email or in-app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
